Casper Second Anniversary

March marked the second anniversary of Casper's launch.

It was another successful year, building upon the success of our first year, growing our book and bringing onboard new products and capabilities. We are hugely grateful for all the support we have had from our brokers and partner carriers.

Some of our key highlights include:

• We welcomed new underwriters to nearly all our classes. Jake Gunn and George Stiff joined the D&O and PI teams, respectively, bringing fresh ideas and a youthful dynamic.

• We launched our first new class of business with Fraser Rogers heading our new Cyber class, supported by Melissa Marshall. The addition of Cyber enables us to provide comprehensive solutions to our existing clients and introduce new blended products to the market.

• Jacob Blomfield joined as our Head of Operations to lead the development of our digital infrastructure and process automation, while Simon Ashton was appointed as Casper's Chief Actuary to enhance our analytical capabilities and leverage insights from our growing data set.

• We also strengthened Casper Europe by relocating to Hamburg and recruiting Nick Sühr to join the Casper Europe board. Nick brings valuable local knowledge and Insurtech innovation expertise.

• With the addition of two further capacity providers on January 1, 2025, we now have five Lloyd's syndicates supporting Casper, positioning us for continued growth.

Looking ahead, our goals for the third year include scaling our business towards £100 million GWP by growing our existing classes, adding new products, and potentially introducing new classes. We will also be utilising insights from our digital infrastructure to identify new opportunities and optimise our portfolio.

We are hugely excited about what is ahead for Casper and look forward to continued collaboration and success with our partners in the market.
